The “One Belt, One Road” initiative has a goal to encourage Chinese influence with and investment in the rest of the world via broad logistic and transport network investments.

“By sharing the benefits of investment and knowledge more broadly, growth will be stronger, more durable and more inclusive,” said the International Monetary Fund’s Christine Lagarde.
